Meet Dr. Hien Tran

Hien Tran, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 2000. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston in 1996. With 24 years of experience in optometry, Dr. Tran has developed a strong interest in Myopia Management, Specialty MultiFocal Contact Lens Fitting, and Dry Eye Treatment.

Dr. Tran's journey into optometry began when her optometrist offered her a position as an assistant and encouraged her to apply to optometry school. She finds great satisfaction in helping her patients with their eye issues, taking the time to understand their visual needs and ocular health. Her goal is to improve her patients' quality of life by enhancing their vision and overall eye comfort.

Outside of work, Dr. Tran enjoys traveling, reading, and attending musicals and concerts.
